They can come in a variety of colors and will do a great job of protecting your floors against scratches when you move you chair back and forth. The downside to rubber chair floor protectors, though, is that they can wear out very quickly. When using rubber floor protectors, keep in mind that they can wear out, and check them every 6 months or so.

Cloth Chair Floor Protectors:

Quite possible the best material to use for protecting your floors at home, cloth is soft enough to refrain from scratching an surface, yet hard enough to ensure that they last for a very, very long time. These chair floor protectors don’t wrap around the bottom of the leg, but they instead use an adhesive to stick to the bottom of the leg, still exposing all sides of the chair leg. It is for this reason why more people choose cloth chair floor protectors over any other type. They offer superb reliability, durability and on top of everything, they don’t deplete the visual aesthetics of your great furniture.
